I have not seen a film in a while that has managed to bore me as much as Chernobyl Diaries has done, so a big round of applause goes to Bradley Parker (director) for directing a boring film. It is so predictable, I saw everything coming about 10 minutes before it knew it was coming, the acting was also quite poor because they screamed more at a dog then they did what looked like zombies chasing them (they are not zombies!)
The film is about a group of tourists that have decided to go on an extreme tour of Pripyat, the former living quarters of the Chernobyl workers and their families before having to be evacuated because of the nuclear reactor exploding. During their visit they encounter problems along the way, realising they are not alone in the town of Pripyat!
“Yeah, almost being mauled to death by a radioactive bear from hell”
Overall I think this film is not worth the time it takes to watch it. I am not saying don’t watch it as you might find you’ll like it, but the 29,000+ users who gave it an IMDb rating of 5.0 I have to disagree with, if anything it is a 3 maybe just scraping a 4.
