To start this post I just need to mention that the title is a take on the way each episode of Chuck is labeled, which brings me to my next point this is my first post about a TV show, I am going to review it as an overall instead of individual episodes.
Now I am on Season 3 out of 5 of Chuck at the moment so this is a review of what I have seen.
Chuck is about an average man known as Chuck Bartowski played by Zachary Levi but Chucks life gets turned upside down because of an old friend/enemy known as Bryce Larkin, played by Matt Bomer.
Bryce is Chucks old college room-mate and fraternity brother, but Bryce also has a secret (who doesn’t?) he works for the CIA! In the first episode you see Bryce stealing information from a computer known as the intersect. This computer held all the information that both the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) and the NSA (National Security Agency) have, until Bryce stole this information then blew up the intersect, whilst trying to escape he gets shot by an agent but Bryce sends the intersect to Chuck (who did not know Bryce works for the CIA). The message is coded in a game of Zork (search it up) that Chuck plays and then gets the intersect implanted into his brain so now he needs to be protected, this is where Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) and John Casey (Adam Baldwin) come in, Sarah working for the CIA and John for the NSA, they are on a mission to protect the asset aka Chuck.
Within the many episodes you see the ups and downs of Chucks life, being sent on missions, having to lie to his sister, brother-in-law, best friend and co-workers, trying to hold his everyday job and faking a relationship with the agent Sarah meaning he can’t get a real relationship.
During season 3 his brother-in-law known as Dr. Devon ‘Captain Awesome’ Woodcomb (Ryan McPartlin) gets whipped into the agency business for a short period having to lie to his new wife Ellie Bartowski (Sarah Lancaster) making her worry more and more.
Overall I love this show and recommend everyone to watch it! I was recommended it by my brother and now I recommend it to you so get watching.
You may find it on TV somewhere if so I am not sure where but find it, watch it, comment back!
