The Amazing Spiderman

So instead of seeing Batman: Dark Knight Rises or Ted, I saw The Amazing Spiderman instead and the name does not lie, it truly is “amazing”. In my own opinion I feel that Andrew Garfield plays a better Peter Parker than Tobey Maguire. It is much more action packed whilst at the same time funnier than Spiderman.

The film wasn’t to slow to start with it had a nice speed to it, couple of twists and turns when you least expect them, but what film doesn’t?

It also has a scene after the credits to make you wonder “Will there be another?”. Yes hopefully there will be as it was a really good film.

It is about Peter Parker trying to find out the truth about his dad Richard Parker (Campbell Scott) who left Peter at a young age to help protect him from any danger. Peter moves in with his Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and Aunt May (Sally Field) as per usual poor Uncle Ben passes away from a  gun shot wound, this time trying to stop a guy who robbed a small corner store, because of this incident Peter devotes his time as Spiderman to track down the killer, not to kill him but to get him arrested.

Of course he is a bit side tracked because of “The Lizard”/Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans) running amok and destroying the city.

I don’t want to say anymore because I don’t want to ruin the film for my readers who hasn’t seen the film. I do suggest you watch the film. Thank you for reading and happy reading and blog posting!
